It's where great minds are inspired to connect, collaborate, share, and learn from each other. NEA edCOMMUNITIES is a collaborative website that engages educators from across the state and the country who are interested in joining together to collaborate, advocate, learn, and organize around professional issues, improvement of public schools, and student success. It is available on any device, including phones and tablets. Through facilitating members' online engagement and collaboration around their professions and careers, NEA edCOMMUNITIES aims to identify and elevate members as leaders within the Association and their profession. This site already has more than 9,000 registrants and more than 300 groups covering topics from Digital Tools & Learning to Eradicating the School-to-Prison Pipeline. Just do a search inside edCOMMUNITIES for topics of interest to you. This site is free, and open to anyone. Visit mynea360.org and sign up! Instructions for developing a group can be found on the site. Groups can be: • Public—open to anyone • Private—open to approved applicants only • Unlisted—hidden and by invitation only. Like any website or group site, it takes care and feeding to build and grow, so give it time. Comment and add content often. Be sure to let friends and colleagues know about your community.
