The palate has weight and structure with notes of stone fruit and Meyer lemon backed up with nice acidity. There's a vibrant tingle on the mouthfeel reminiscent of candied orange peel. Expressive aromas of grilled red meat, hickory smoke, mocha and blackberry pie. Silky on the palate with flavors of blueberry jam and white peppercorns up front, broadening with hints clove and nutmeg. Finishes with spicy, velvety tannins, notes of smoked meat and hints sage brush.
