He has designed over twenty short fi lms for Emerson and UCLA, as well as six branded shorts for Buzzfeed. John won the award for best narrative Production Design at the 36th Evvy Awards for his work on The Men of Tomorrow. In addition to his work as a designer, John has also worked as an Art Director, leadman, set dresser and art PA on a variety of independent features commercials, and web series. M A X S w e e n e y Max was born in the Midwest and raised between New York and Los Angeles, where he currently resides. After graduating from Cal State Northridge with an emphasis in fi lm theory and cultural anthropology, he found a desire to shift to several areas, including design and photography. His path in Production Design began by assisting designers in commercials and music videos, and—in the last fi ve years—as an Art Department asset manager on such projects as Logan, Black Panther and the forthcoming Disney+ series Star Wars: The Mandalorian.
