Tim graduated from Art Center College of Design, where he currently teaches. He expanded his drawing skills into careers in the comic book, animation and film industries, but is best known as a storyboard artist. His film work ranges from Terminator 2 on through Thor, Rise of the Apes and The Help to the recent Jurassic World, The Revenant and Independence Day: Resurgence. In Pursuit of Tarzan I have been a life-long Tarzan fan, first through the films, then the comics and finally the novels. I even met my favorite Tarzan artist Russ Manning, who did the Gold Key comics adaptions of the books and then went on to write and draw the newspaper comic strip. The likelihood of my ever getting a chance to do any kind of Tarzan project seemed fairly remote until the '90s when I managed to contact the new comic book publishers (in Sweden). They liked a two-part story called "Here There Be Dragons" pitting Tarzan against velociraptors before Jurassic Park became a bestselling book. Then the publishers lost the license and the books were never finished. These pages are from a graphic novel adaption of "Tarzan at the Earth's Core."
