HERBERT II With a vast list of award-winning restaurants, several professional sports teams, miles of outdoor enjoyment, and world-renowned attractions, the demand for hosting events in Chicago is higher than ever. One of The Windy City's biggest meeting place highlights is McCormick Place Convention Center, which has built a reputation as the country's premier facil- ity for meetings and conventions for more than half a century. The 2.6 million-sq. ft. venue is equipped with 173 meeting rooms, leading technology and located within a five-mile radius of more than 33,000 downtown Chicago hotel rooms. Because this city has so many unique characteristic highlights its no wonder The Windy City has so many unique meeting venues. Revel Motor Row is located in a renovated historic building in Chicago's Motor Row District, close to McCormick Place. Founded in the early 1900s, Motor Row got its name from the car companies that built some of their first-ever auto showrooms there. The venue offers 50,000 sq. ft. of event space that's made up of more than 20 versatile rooms. Highlights include a 4,000-sq. ft. outdoor courtyard that links to the adjacent 3,000-sq. ft. former Cadillac showroom, called The Garage at Motor Row.
