The move back to Chicago affords Puglise-Kipley a variety of opportunities for growth. During his time at Whitehouse Post, Puglise-Kipley edited a wide range of projects, including Tylenol's "How We Family" campaign, Lifetime's "Enjoy Being a Girl," a gun control PSA for The Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, and the retro-styled music video Because I'm Me for The Avalanches. SEBASTIEN LAFFOUX Sebastien Laffoux has been promoted to director of sales, camera systems, for Arri Inc. He will be responsible for managing the entire camera sales team for North America, with regional representa- tives based in Los Angeles, New York and Toronto. With over 15 years at Arri Canada, Laffoux previ- ously served as an accounts manager before tran- sitioning to technical sales representative and then technical sales manager, eastern region for North America. He will relocate to the Burbank office in the middle of 2017. RANDALL ROSA, WENDY LANNING FuseFX is LA has appoint- ed visual effects industry veterans Randall Rosa and Wendy Lanning to head its production facility in Vancouver. Rosa will lead the creative team as head of production/senior VFX supervisor. He brings more than 20 years of experience in senior creative and management roles, including posts with Stan Winston Digital and Digital Domain. Lanning, with a 20-year career in visual effects including key roles at Psyop Vancouver and Look Effects Vancouver, arrives as executive producer and will oversee client relations, business development and strategic planning. STEPHEN GOALBY Stephen Goalby joins the Framestore team in London as design director. His portfolio spans all manner of design work, accrued from a total of 12 years in the industry across various DesignWeek Top 20 agencies. His accomplished directorial reel incorporates 2D and 3D animation, digital out-of- home and live action. Goalby will play an import- ant role in guiding Framestore's Design Studio to create more challenging and innovative work in the design space, building the studio's credentials across disciplines on a global scale. MARTY WALL Newly formed Flex Creative in Burbank, CA, has named 25-year industry veteran Marty Wall, direc- tor, business development. Prior to joining Flex, Wall had been business development consultant with Troika. Wall has extensive expertise in new business development, account supervision, cre- ative management and agency growth building, having developed and managed multi-million dollar accounts, such as the ABC Network, CBS Television and developed and produced work for The Grammys, The Primetime Emmy Awards and the Super Bowl Halftime Show. JOSH HAYNIE Light Iron has appointed veteran post profession- al Josh Haynie to the newly created role of vice president of US operations. Based in Light Iron's flagship Hollywood facility, Haynie will be responsi- ble for leveraging the company's resources across Los Angeles, New York, New Orleans and future locations. Haynie joins Light Iron after 13 years at Efilm, where, as managing director, he maintained direct responsibility for all aspects of the compa- ny's operations. Previously, Haynie held positions at Sunset Digital, Octane/ Lightning Dubs, Sunset Post and other studios. VICTORIA ALONSO The Visual Effects Society has named producer and Marvel Studios executive vice president of physical production, Victoria Alonso, the next recipient of its Visionary Award in recognition of her contributions to visual arts and filmed enter- tainment. It will be presented at the 15th Annual VES Awards in February 2017. In her executive role, Alonso oversees post production and visual ef- fects for the studio slate. She executive produced Doctor Strange, Captain America: Civil War, Ant-Man and Avengers: Age of Ultron and currently Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Thor: Ragnarok. LAUREN HERTZBERG Cut+Run welcomes Lauren Hertzberg as executive producer of the company's New York office. In her new role, Hertzberg, with her extensive editorial experience, will play a central part in providing creative support and service to clients. Hertzberg joins Cut+Run from the Whitehouse, where she was the NY executive producer for the last four and a half years. She started with the company in 2003 and worked her way up from receptionist to producer, working on global television commercials to music videos, short films and social media content.
