Pitcher's Brewing began with a mission to not just make any shandy, but high-quality shandies that would change the category's reputa- tion amongst craft beer enthusiasts. With this goal in mind, it produced the 5.1% ABV Radler (German for cyclist), a Bavarian-style lager, blended with grapefruit and a touch of blood orange. The natural citrus flavors shine, while not overpowering the crisp lager base. It will have your palate spinning with delight, but remember to get off your bike first and then enjoy! 3 Sheeps Brewing Co.: rst Kiss You may not have fond memories of your first kiss, but this Imperial IPA will knock you off your feet in the most pleasant manner pos- sible. First Kiss (8.2% ABV) balances the heavy-hitting 110 IBUs with refined malts and a sweetness from wildflower honey, harvested near the Sheboygan, WI brew- ery. The piney, earthy notes of the hops play beautifully with a subtle backdrop of lemongrass and tropical fruits, along with flavors of biscuit, toffee and caramel. Your customers will fall head over heels in love over this expression—it's definitely not a wolf in sheep's clothing! Lagunitas Brewing Company: Aunt Say Everyone has that cool aunt, who gets along with everyone and has the perfect amount of sass. Brewmaster Jeremy Marshall calls their Aunt Sally (5.7% ABV)—Lagunitas' tribute to everyone's favorite relative— "a gateway sour, smack full of Lagunitas hops." Marshall adds lactobacillus to the wort, which is produced from two-row malted barley, wheat and torrified wheat. After souring for a few days, it is brewed with Equinox and Citra hops. The end result dives deep with a complex web of funk, citrus and tropical fruit, earthiness, bread and pine. If this offering is a gateway sour, I can't wait to see where it will take me. with would With The 3 Sheeps Sheeps rst rst Sheeps rst Sheeps Sheeps rst Sheeps You You kiss, kiss, your sible. heavy-hitting heavy-hitting and and harvested ery. play play lemongrass flavors customers over wolf
