This month, we chatted with Jean-François Bonneté, who was recently named COO at Pisco Portón. He was previously Vice President – Spirits Division at W.J. Deutsch & Sons. TP: How would you defi ne Pisco Portón's culture and what attracted you to it? JFB: Pisco Porton has been approaching the U.S. spirits brand-building challenge with pragmatism, professionalism, resources, passion and struc- ture. Bill and Brent Kallop, family owners, are doing everything right to give the team the best chance of success in creating a new, iconic and aspirational brand and category. TP: What advice would you give to job seekers looking for their next role? JFB: Understand the type of business environment (family, corporate, etc.) that will give you the best opportunity to express yourself, optimize your skills, keep growing professionally and personally, allow you to be passionate and fully engaged in your position.
