The quintes- sential Tennessee whiskey is born in Lynchburg, a short ninety-minute drive south of country music's capital Nashville (hailed locally as Music City USA), and due east of the bustling blues bars that line Memphis's Beale Street. But you don't have to be in Tennessee to realize that Jack and music are inseparable. Two of San Francisco's top mixologists are shak- ing up Jack Daniel's cocktails fit for the musical legends whose songs give name to these drinks. "I would enjoy being on the road a whole lot more," starts Brand Ambassador Eric "ET" Tecosky, "if every hotel bar were run the way Brian Means runs Dirty Habit." The Bar Manager of the SOMA district establish- ment, Brian explains his love of the brand: "It's super iconic, especially if you're in the rock n' roll scene. It was Sinatra's drink. Lemmy from Mötorhead, that was his thing, too." There's no questioning that Jack Daniel's shares deep roots with the music industry; ET says it best: "The only thing more rock 'n' roll than Jack Daniel's is rock 'n' roll itself."
