ADDITIONAL RESOURCES
The LA Veterans Portal and Veterans
Resource Corps (211la.org)
The LA Veterans Portal is an innovative,
web-based platform where local veterans
can research services, call 211 directly, or
receive direct assistance from a member
of the "Veterans Service Corps" (VRC) who
operate out of our LA City Libraries. VRC
consists of 20 veterans who work out of 10
of our libraries and provide other veterans
"peer support" while they identify/access
services. The portal has the most extensive
and vetted veterans resource directory in
the region.

Office of Mayor Eric Garcetti has developed
the "VetsGo511" phone app which will
provide instant access to transportation
and social services for veterans and
military personnel. With this application,
veterans can have easy access to public
transportation.
