Each week appointments are available to meet with a Veteran Transition Specialist. NDVets offers a wide array of services, including job training and placement. Veterans who use the programs leave NDVets with a savings account, housing, a job or other income, computer skills, renewed self-confidence and the support of mentors and peers. www.newdirectionsinc.org Volunteers of America HVRP Volunteers of America's Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program HVRP (also known as Helping Veterans Receive Paychecks) helps ensure that male and female veterans receive the employment and training services they need to get good, sustainable jobs. The programs offer job counseling, resume preparation, job placement, and follow-up. VRC consists of 20 veterans who work out of 10 of our libraries and provide other veterans "peer support" while they identify/access services.
