As the proprietor of family-owned Long Meadow Ranch Winery in Napa Valley, Hall, now 31, not only oversaw the renovation of the Gothic Revival architecture that would morph into a tasting "house" for the winery, but also transform the adjacent barn into one of the area's most talked-about dining desti- nations: Farmstead restaurant. Three years ago, the site of LMR winery and Farmstead was a former nursery. Now, an organic produce and herb garden surrounds the St. Helena tasting room and restaurant.
