Its Re:Match is a set of plug-ins that help match one view of video or film to another so that it looks as if it was shot with the same camera and settings. Re:Match assumes that both image sequences are tak- en roughly at the same location but perhaps were not shot at the same time or from the same point-of-view. For multi-camera shoots, Re:Match can help create a uniform overall color appearance. The tools can also make other details, such as reflections, specular highlights, and lens flares, be consistent between different views. The standard version of Re:Match is priced at $89.95 and works in After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Vegas Pro. The Pro version, with stereo pair color matching, is available for After Effects and Premiere Pro ($329.95), and Nuke and Fusion ($395.00). De:Flicker (After Effects, $249.95) is designed to smooth out annoying flicker and artifacts that occur when shooting high frame rate or timelapse video. Dealing with light source flicker has been very time consuming until now. De:Flicker handles this type of problem automatically while retaining image detail. In addition, De:Flicker can fix flicker on multiple objects, even when those objects flicker at different rates. The release can also handle common problems with color shifts, exposure and other camera settings, as well as lighting inconsistencies that may occur from frame to frame. ZAXWORKS SIMPLIFIES TITLE DESIGN TEMPLE CITY, CA — Zaxworks (www.zaxwerks.com) recently released two new plug-ins: 3D ProAnimator 8 and 3D Invigorator Pro 8. The 3D ProAn- imator 8 plug-in is designed to increase the speed of producing title and logo animations. The most notable new feature is near realtime rendering of ray-traced images for creating realistic reflections, shadows and lighting. Other notable features include camera focus, contact shadows, more realistic materials and the ability to quickly populate a project with millions of polygons without significantly affecting rendering speed. 3D ProAnimator works as a plug-in for After Effects or as a standalone tool for video editors. Pricing is $495. 3D Invigorator Pro 8 contains nearly 100 new features designed to help After Effects users create 3D titles and logo animation. In addition to near re- altime rendering, the new release offers custom-drawn bevels, camera focus, 3D stage lighting, object warping, 3D lens flares and 200 free materials. For motion graphics artists, Invigorator works with the AE comp camera and comp lights. PLUG-INS RED GIANT SHOOTER SUITE 12.6.1 HELPS SYNC RED CAMERA MEDIA PORTLAND, OR — Red Giant (www.redgiant.com) released the latest update to its Shooter Suite 12.6.1, a collection of purpose-built applica- tions that give directors of photography, videographers, shooters and filmmakers automation and workflow capabilities to offload, analyze, touch up and synchronize digital media destined for post. The release features PluralEyes 3.5.5 support for Red camera media. PluralEyes is a tool for audio and video sync automation. It analyzes audio from cameras and other audio devices, and quickly syncs them up. The update also enhances the overall export work- flow and includes a new welcome video tutorial. The Shooter Suite also includes a number of improvements to the Offload, BulletProof and Instant 4K applications. The Red Giant Shoot Suite 12.6.1 release, free to existing 12.6 users, can be downloaded from the Red Giant Website for $399. Existing Shooter Suite users who fall outside the free update guidelines can update their existing applications for $99. PluralEyes 3.5.5 is sold as part of the Shooter Suite Shooter Suite 12.6.1 and as a standalone product for $199.
