He brings more than 20 years of experience in features and episod- ic television, and will work out of a DI theater at Chainsaw's Hollywood facility. The studio is equipped with Blackmagic Design's DaVinci Re- solve grading system. Finley is currently grading Season 5 of Game of Thrones. He comes to the studio from Modern VideoFilm, where he had been a senior colorist for nearly two decades. MATT FLUGGER Sony Pictures Television has named Matt Flug- ger vice president of on-air creative for the US networks group. Flugger was hired in 2010 to cre- ate the on-air department, and has since helped launch Sony Movie Channel, Cine Sony Televi- sion and getTV. He'll now serve as US networks creative lead, producing promos and original con- tent, managing the creative team, and driving the look and feel for all three channels, which have a total reach of 40 million households. Prior to joining Sony Pictures, Flugger worked for Alkemi Entertainment, Jump! Creative and The Los Angeles Edit Company, where he created spots and campaigns for HBO, The Discovery Channel, Lifetime, CBS and TVOne. JON MASSEY VFX supervisor Jon Massey, whose credits include the HBO vampire drama True Blood, has joined FuseFX. Massey comes to the studio from Zoic, where he served as a visual effects super- visor for nearly a decade. In addition to seven seasons of True Blood, he also worked on Angel and Over There. Massey got his start as a camera assistant and made the transition to visual effects at 525 Post Production in Hollywood. His first project with the studio is serving as VFX supervi- sor for Turn, the Revolutionary War series now in its second season on AMC. HEATHER RICHARDSON Chicago-based editing house Cutters has added Heather Richardson to their staff as a producer. For the past nine years, Richardson has been a producer for Cosmo Street Editorial in New York, where she produced commercials for the compa- ny's editors and many leading directors. Some of her recent credits include work for AT&T, DirecTV, ESPN, Geico, GoDaddy and Land Rover. Richardson began with Cosmo Street in Los Angeles before moving to New York in 2008. Prior to that, she was a producer at LA visual effects studio a52. A graduate of the University of Colorado in Boulder, she grew up just north of Chicago. PEOPLE JORDAN JACOBS 2G Digital in Burbank has appointed Jordan Jacobs to the newly-created position of senior VP of business development. Formerly VP/sales and account management at Technicolor, Jacobs will develop new business and broaden existing relationships with film and television studios, as well as with independent producers. 2G Digital specializes in digital distribution and related services for all types of entertainment content. Jacobs has more than 30 years of expe- rience in distribution and content management. CHIP SCIACCA DiGiCo's US distributor, Group One Ltd., has appointed Sal "Chip" Sciacca to the post of tech- nical support for DiGiCo. Sciacca recently joined the distributor's Farmingdale, NY, office and will be providing national technical support for the digital console manufacturer in conjunction with DiGiCo US technical manager Taidus Vallandi. Prior to joining the company, he served as systems technician and audio engineer for the Tedeschi Trucks Band, which tours with a pair of DiGiCo consoles. Sciacca has also spent many years in the metro New York area working as a freelance audio engineer. JASON PAYNE Dallas-based Treehouse has brought in its fourth editor. Jason Payne is well known in the Dallas advertising community through previous posts with Fast Cuts, N2O and The Richards Group. He brings more than a dozen years of experience as a commercial editor and a reel that includes work for H-E-B, Red Lobster, Georgia Power, Firestone and McDonald's. Payne began his career as an in-house editor with The Richards Group in 2001. Since joining N2O in 2008 and Fast Cuts in 2011, he has continued to handle projects for The Richards Group and other local agencies. BRAD EDELSTEIN Click 3X in NYC has added Brad Edelstein as executive producer, business development for its interactive arm, ClickFire Media. Edelstein rejoins the team, having once worked with the company in the sales and business development depart- ment. He comes from Stinkdigital, where he served as director of business development for the US, focusing on interactive work. Prior to that, Edelstein worked at East Pleasant Pictures as their executive producer. Earlier in his career, he worked at integrated production company Mohawk Digital, formally known as InTheMo Interactive.
