The com- pany, based outside Milwaukee, is betting that nostalgia has just as powerful a pull as ever as it introduces Tippy Cow, a brand whose flavors will remind consumers of their favorite taste experiences, while delivering a creamy smooth bottom line to retailers and on-premise accounts. There's not a trendy açaí berry or exotic mangosteen in sight at Tippy Cow headquarters. Nope. Made from the finest Caribbean rum blended with real dairy cream, Tippy Cow flavors— Vanilla Soft Serve, Orange Cream, Shamrock Mint and Chocolate—are tried and true stalwarts, reminiscent of iconic sweet, creamy American flavors that consumers relate to on a deeply nostalgic "I remember that!" level. Consumers have compared the four Tippy Cow flavors, respectively, to the Dairy Queen Soft Serve, the Dreamsicle, the Shamrock Shake and the Wendy's Frosty. Appropriately, the product is packaged in old-fashioned milk bottles to reinforce the fact that Tippy Cow is made with the freshest real dairy cream from—where else?—Wisconsin, America's dairyland. "Who needs newfangled when old-fashioned tastes are great?" declares Duane Maas, the feisty octogenarian President of Midwest Custom Bottling. "Bartenders love Tippy Cow because it's delicious straight up or easily mixable with a variety of flavored spirits and coffee." Maas expects the brand to compete with everything from flavored vodkas and rums to any variety of liqueurs, as the 14 percent alcohol Tippy Cow flavors deliver phenomenal taste with a fun factor that makes them extremely popular with today's consumer. Tippy Cow will be promoting recipes for unique drink concoctions on its website at www.tippy-cow.com. Tippy Cow was launched earlier this year in select markets in both on- and off-premise. The suggested retail price is $16.99/750ml. Tippy Cow 50ml. mini bottles are also available at an average retail price of $1.49. Thank you, Wisconsin. Finally, there's a drink that's more fun than tipping cows! —David Gadd Churning Out Goodness NEW TIPPY COW RUM CREAMS SERVE UP NOSTALGIC FLAVOR EXPERIENCES— AND THAT'S NO BULL! Inventive and catchy Tippy Cow POS helps "mooove" product. TP0514_034-71.indd 49 4/24/14 11:03 PM
