AREA GUIDES and a new high performance sound sys- tem all add to the benefits of booking your next convention at the Macon Coliseum. With the 1996 addition of the 102,000 gross-sq. ft. Edgar H.Wilson Convent- ion Centre, The Centreplex has become Georgia’s largest convention/event facility outside of metro-Atlanta, and one of the largest, finest and most ver- satile in the Southeastern United States. The Centreplex is a state of-the-art facility with all the bells and whistles you’d expect from a major metropolitan market, and, yet, free from the many hassles a major market often creates. The anchor of the centre is a 30,800- sq. ft. Exhibition Hall. An extraordinar- ily versatile space, this hall can be divid- ed into two rooms — one with 22,400 sq. ft. and the other with 8,400 sq. ft. — or it can be used in conjunction with both the center’s ballroom and the adja- cent Coliseum arena for more than 82,000 sq. ft. of contiguous floor space! That’s enough space for more than 450 exhibit booths measuring 10-ft. x 10-ft. The centre’s 9,100-sq. ft. ballroom can also be sub-divided into five different break-out spaces. WHOYOUGONNACALL?
