The site's homepage welcomes visitors with bold colors, a clean uncluttered design, and a rotating header with featured content focused on our mission to serve our members through the National Organization, promote TPOC Heritage Tourism and drive business to our Partners, Affiliates and Certified Heritage Sites using our expertise, knowledge and experience of the Travel Industry and the "Minority Travel Dollar." Make sure you check out the 2013 conference infomercial located under Conference info link! The new site is divided into three main sections: TPOC LLC, TPOC National Association and TPOC Heritage. By moving to a more visitor-centric layout, we allow visitors to access information in a central location but still based on their own choice rather than needing to sift through everything to decide what is of interest to them. Our current and prospective members and partners will find general information about membership and chapters in the National Association section. The Heritage Tourism section highlights the TPOC Heritage Tourism product the TPOC LLC continues to develop and outlines the values of Heritage Tourism to the travel community at large. The web site will feature various industry-specific articles and member successes in the TPOC Log section. It will also feature news and announcements in the News Letter and be sure to keep up with the latest TPOC Events in our Events Calendar! Also, please be sure to find us on Twitter and Linked In and "Like" us on Face BY BETTY JONES book using our social media links on the site. The web site will be updated on a regular basis, based on direct feedback from our members and our partners. This will be made possible by the use of a Content Management System (CMS) that will make it possible to have the multiple content managers within the organization. We will be encouraging site users to provide feedback via the web site, and also to sign up for our upcoming external newsletter. The first issue will be released before the end of the year, so please keep visiting the web site for updates. If you experience any problems using the new web site or if you have any suggestions, please contact us at feedback@tpoc.org or by clicking on the feedback link on the footer of the main site.
