(This successful franchise has a spin-off based in Nashville… coming soon.) It is in this moment when all of the above comes into place. Empowerment based on honesty, empathy and trust. I was able to leave because I trust the team and the team trusted me. It all went perfectly. Mission accomplished! I'm currently back in LA preparing season 9 for what we call the mothership of this unique franchise: 9-1-1… what's your emergency? The entertainment industry is dramatically changing right in front of our eyes. The frantic speed that we are experiencing in Hollywood won't diminish, if anything, it will increase with the presence of AI. We need to adapt to this new tool, the AI. So far, it is that—just a tool. We don't need to be afraid of it, we need to learn how to control it and incorporate it into our own profession. So "be fearless and relax" returns. Honestly, I still need to learn how to use it because, if you think this article is not well written, well…you are right. I still do not know how to use ChapGPT, or is it ChatGPT? I don't know, I like Chap! But, as long as productions still need sets to be built, scenic painters to paint it, Graphic Designers to pepper in their contributions, the set dressing and the property department to add the finishing touches, long as we still need to create human emotions for human beings, as long as we are flexible to grow and adapt, we will succeed in our careers, and my beloved industry of entertainment via the pictures in motion will survive for generations to come.
