C I N E M A A U D I O S O C I E T Y. O R G 65 JAMIE CAMPBELL CAS, originally from England, has lived in L.A. for 16 years. He brought his easy-to-assemble mid-sized cart, which folds neatly in the trunk of his sedan. This setup has no monitors and is bare-bones designed for on-location days. Being able to put his Aaton Cantar on the top shelf, Jamie also enjoys mixing while standing for greater engagement and quick response. ROBERT SHARMAN CAS exhibited the most comprehensive range of carts, from his smallest mobile rig to his larger workstation. His compact cart is used for on-location days, with the bag affording greater mobility in case he needs to grab his recorder and get his boots dirty. But even though it's compact, it still holds three displays for video monitoring. The larger rig consists of two pieces—one housing the recorder, mixing console, monitors, and antennas, and the other serving as a workbench for additional equipment. Both carts operate independently, allowing him to adapt to any production scenario. Robert Sharman CAS Jamie Campbell CAS
