BY MIGUEL ARAUJO MPSE ith a career spanning more than 37 years, Mark Lanza MPSE has amassed over 270 credits on top films and television shows. He has worked with prolific directors such as Oliver Stone, Roland Emerich, James Cameron, and Michael Dinner. It's no surprise that someone with the credits Mark has garnered, include 30+ Golden Reel nominations, a Golden Reel win for Philip K. Dick's Electric Dreams (2017-2018), a Cinema Audio Society Award nomination for The Hollow (2016), and a Hollywood Post Alliance win for Grimm (2011). Mark was also part of the sound team that won the BAFTA for the film JFK. Mark is a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and served on the Television Academy Sound Peer Group Executive Committee (2020-2023). In 2023, he also served on the Science and Technology Committee for the Motion Picture Academy. He and his wife Debora have been volunteers for the Motion Picture Television Fund since 2008. He is on the Board of Directors for EIPMA (Entertainment Industry Professionals Mentoring Alliance) and is the Vaughan International Film Festival "Trailblazer Award" recipient for 2023.
