We want to hear from YOU SAG-AFTRA MAGAZINE Thank you for sending me my Summer 2023 SAG-AFTRA magazine. Honestly, the world that we are now living and working in is becoming more difficult. SAG-AFTRA magazine did a wonderful job supporting us by explaining what is going on and how we can improve it. You made my day! Terry Londeree Atlanta Local A MAGNIFICENT RESPONSE I am watching the progress of a historic SAG-AFTRA strike against the companies represented by the AMPTP. It has been a daunting yet magnificent response from many individuals regarding the fundamental challenges that confront our industry at this time. It harms the well-being of people and their livelihoods when there is a call to strike and later the reality of mounting a sustainable plan of action. In this world where leadership and skills of diplomacy are mediocre at best, it has been wonderfully heartening to see our SAG-AFTRA president, Fran Drescher, stand head and shoulders above the throng of battle and, in a determined, logical and professional manner, call out the injustices that plague our industry. Thank you so much Fran for fighting alongside us. Christopher Bruce Pluck Los Angeles Local ACTION ITEMS Look for this symbol throughout the magazine to find out how you can take action. - 9
