After earning a BA in fine art, Jisoo began her career as a fine artist and held exhibitions in New York, Beijing, Seoul and Los Angeles. Prior to attending AFI, she studied stage design at the Graduate School of Performing Arts, Hongik University in Seoul, Korea. She also spent time in London and Los Angeles working as a Production Designer. Since she has experience in many different fields of art, she has a strong understanding of design principles, architecture, art history and various artistic styles which helps her to create a cohesive visual aesthetic as a Production Designer. She has worked as a Production Designer and producer on a variety of short films, TV pilots, commercials and plays. Her work has been selected for multiple film festivals, including Cannes La Cinéfondation, Palm Springs Shortfest, LA Shorts and Hollyshorts Film Festival.
