She currently lives in Los Angeles where she is working in the Art Department for film & TV. She loves to employ her stylistic kitsch aesthetic, warmly referred to by some as "grandma-chic," providing an infusion of warmth and nostalgia into her design. She was recently set decorator on a feature horror film for Hulu set to release in fall 2023. L A K S H M I N Y M I S H A G u m m a d i Nymisha completed her undergraduate degree in architecture and worked for over a year with a renowned design firm in India as an architect and interior designer before moving to LA. After relocating, she pursued an MFA in Production Design from AFI. In her short time in LA, she has been Production Designer and Art Director on several independent short films, as well as a full-length feature. Her skills include set design, Model Making, prop fabrication, perspective drawing, photobashing, digital painting, SketchUp, LayOut, Vectorworks, Rhino, Revit, CAD, Twinmotion, Enscape, 3Ds MAX and VRay.
