DGA Latino Committee presents: DGA Latino Summit 2023: Creative Voices Please join us for the third annual DGA Latino Summit, a day dedicated to connecting, advancing and amplifying our members and increasing representation across categories. This year, we will bring together our community and allies to discuss the state of feature filmmaking and episodic television. Directors Spotlight: Guillermo del Toro & Fede Álvarez Guillermo del Toro (Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio, The Shape of Water, Pan's Labyrinth) and Fede Álvarez (Evil Dead, Don't Breathe, Ataque de pánico!) will share their experiences in the industry in a one-to-one conversation. Las Voces of Episodic This panel will explore unique Latino voices in the world of episodic television directing from different standpoints including guest Directors, Producing Directors and Latino Showrunners who can underscore the importance of the Latino voice.
