Jess received an ADG Award in 2015 for Best TV Design Short Format for Apple Music. He is a member of both AMPAS and DGA and has directed numerous commercials. His passion for the art began in Mamaroneck High School's theater and lighting department. J O N AT H A N G U G G E N H E I M is a Production Designer, Art Director and assemblage artist. Growing up, he participated in community theater on and off stage as an actor and prop assistant. His interest in the film industry led him to attend the University of North Carolina at Wilmington where he received a BA in communication studies with a concentration in graphic design, visual media and performance of literature. His involvement in theater and sketch comedy allowed him to experiment with set design, prop fabrication and scenic painting. After creating a series of his own micro-budget surreal comedies, he met and began working with Production Designer Chad Keith on the Sundance Lab projects Martha Marcy May Marlene, Restless City, and On the Ice. He has worked as an Art Director for the past thirteen years on such films as Loving, Leave No Trace, Boy Erased, Scream and The Black Phone, as well as on the Hulu series The Act. He continues to develop his own understanding of cinematic environments and how to more effectively communicate visual ideas through research, workshops and self exploration. His foray into Production Design has included the films To the Stars, Wild Indian and Nanny. All of which were selected for US Dramatic Competition at the Sundance Film Festival with Nanny having been awarded the Grand Jury Prize in 2022. Jonathan lives in Asheville, NC, with his wife Blair, two cats, a ghost dog and a Japanese maple collection. T I M G A L V I N Tim discovered the magic of drama at his high school production of Twelfth Night and that spell hasn't diminished. He studied stage design and worked in New York theater where he ran lighting, built and painted scenery, designed sets for summer stock, industrials, concerts, schools, off & off-off Broadway; assisted on ballets, operas, regional and Broadway shows before moving into film and TV. Films have taken Tim throughout the country, and world, serving as Production Designer, Art Director or Set Designer for more than forty-five feature films or television shows, receiving an ADG nomination for Bloodline along the way. Recent television projects include Suzan-Lori Parks' and Anthony Hemmingway's Genius: Aretha for Imagine/Nat Geo, and Bill Lawrence and Marcos Siega's Bad Monkey for Apple TV. Tim's film design work includes David Mamet's The Spanish Prisoner, Lee Daniels' The Butler, and his collaborations with Peter Farrelly, Green Book and now, The Greatest Beer Run Ever. Tim, his wife Ellen, and daughter Karen thrived in New York City for years until, having worked in Philadelphia, they thought maybe daily life could be easier…they continue to live in Philly today. J E S S G O N C H O R received his first Academy Award nomination and an Art Directors Guild nomination for his work on the Coen Brothers' True Grit. He also collaborated with Joel and Ethan Coen on No Country for Old Men (for which he received an Art Directors Guild Award In Excellence in Production Design), A Serious Man (Art Directors Guild nomination), Burn After Reading, Inside Llewyn Davis (the Hamilton Behind the Scenes Award), Hail Caesar! (his second Academy Award nomination), and the 2018 release The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, marking his seventh film with the Coen Brothers. He also worked with director Bennett Miller on the Academy Award-nominated Capote, Moneyball and Foxcatcher (on which he also served as 2nd unit director).
