Fight in Temperance Street Later in the season, the series features an unexpected fight that reveals hidden motives. Staged on an exterior set at Melody Ranch, in the ruins of the prohibition era park called Temperance, the scene was scripted to utilize a length of street and storefronts for pursuit and evasion. But a walk through with Director Andrew Seklir and the creative team coalesced around the idea that pacing and intercutting with other scenes would be better served by restricting the area. So the stunt team choreographed action around a parked armored vehicle, and I interpreted it for camera, with ideas of angles and movement that tracked the action while still showcasing the backlot façades where possible.
