Fight at Whitny Estate
One of the earliest scenes called for a fight that
plays out in adjacent areas of a lavish home.
Shooting on location, executive producer/director
Richard J. Lewis and DP John Conroy sought to
make the best use of the space and show the
physical combat in a clear and exciting way.
Once they developed a rough plan with stunt
coordinators Mark Norby and Brian Duffy, I
was brought in to walk through the ideas, shoot
reference, and clarify issues for camera and
continuity via the storyboards. As is often the
case, changes were made on the day, but the main
construct held together.
