Renee is a Bronx native and currently resides in the borough's Soundview neighborhood. With 16 years' experience in the travel and tourism industry, she most recently served as Director of Sales for Running Subway, the producers of Times Square's new attraction RiseNY. Prior to Running Subway, Renee held roles at THE RIDE and Harlem Spirituals. Among other volunteer positions, Renee sits on the Student and Youth Travel Association (SYTA) Diversity Advisory Board and serves as Public Relations Director for her sorority Zeta Phi Beta, Incorporated – the Manhattan Alumni Chapter. LITTLE ROCK CONVENTION & VISITORS BUREAU NAMES VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES, SERVICES Adam Berrios Promoted to Lead Bureau's Sales and Services Division The Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau (LRCVB) has announced the promotion of Adam Berrios to Vice President of Sales and Services; a position that drives the organization's key role in attracting meetings, conventions and sporting events to Arkansas's capital city. As vice president, Berrios plans and directs all activities of the sales department, group travel and client services, and the destination services team. In addition, he leads hotel partner relations. "His strategic-driven approach to business development has been instrumental as we have continued to navigate through the worst economic season our industry has weathered," she added. Berrios joined the LRCVB March 2021 as the bureau's director of sales, bringing more than ten years of convention and visitors bureau experience that has been used to promote Little Rock as a des- tination for conven- tions and meetings. Despite the chal- lenges 2021 brought to an industry recovering from Covid-19 pandemic, Berrios led his team to secure 100 meet- ings, conventions, and sporting events to Little Rock, bringing nearly 95,000 attendees and $25 million in direct spending. The team also booked 114 future business equating to 37,000 room nights, more than 65,000 atten- dees and an esti- mated $17 million in direct spend. "The time is now for Little Rock," said Berrios. "Busi- ness is returning, and our destination is poised to capital- ize. Our brand is strong, our product is solid, and our team is primed. Together, we're positioning our city in a way that is attracting quality events that will further drive our success," he added. Prior to joining the LRCVB, Berrios was senior sales man- ager with VisitGreenvilleSC and the Alpharetta Convention and Visitors Bureau. Berrios has a Master of Professional Studies from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Entertainment Management from the University of South Carolina.
