HOUSE OF GUCCI
Chronicling the rise to success and the
tragic killing of the heir to the Gucci empire
in 1995, the story spans approximately 20
years from the 1970s to the end of the '90s.
Luxe locales in the Italian Alps, Milan, Como
and Rome reflect a specifi c kind of seductive
Italian style and wealth that best describes
the Gucci family, and reveal what they were
really like—crass, cruel and plotting—behind
closed doors.
THE LAST NIGHT IN SOHO
This time-traveling horror mystery focuses
on the supernatural connection between a
young fashion student in the present and
a glamorous singer in the 1960s. Filmed
mostly in London's bohemian Soho, an iconic
melting pot of energy, strange characters,
famous clubs, bars and streets, the setting
provides the authentic backdrop at the fi lm's
core and provides all the geography for the
story to enfold—in both the present and the
past.

OUTSTANDING LOCATIONS IN A PERIOD FILM
LICORICE PIZZA
This exuberant 1970s coming-of-age story
takes place in LA's San Fernando Valley
with forays "over the hill" into Hollywood.
A stretch of the West End Art District in
Chatsworth was transformed back to the
era. A waterbed truck perilously navigates
the Encino Hills, the 1973 James Bond fi lm
screens at the El Portal Theater, and the
long—gone Tail o' the Cock restaurant in
Sherman Oaks is recreated at the Van Nuys
Golf Course eatery. The locations support
the retro look and bring back a distinct LA
vibe from an earlier time.
