MOTION IMPOSSIBLE INTRODUCES MAGNETIC STRIP GUIDING SYSTEM BRISTOL, UK — Motion Impossible (http://motion-impossible.com), the maker of modular remote dolly systems and camera stabilizers, has launched MagTrax, a new magnetic strip-guided system for tracked applications that offers more fl xibility and speed than laid or set-embedded dolly tracks. MagTrax enabling customers to follow a magnetic strip that's laid on a surface, underneath a carpet or embedded within a set. MagTrax provides a guaranteed repeatable path, speed control for both straight or curved tracks, and collision detection with automatic e-stop. In ad- dition, MagTrax has a configu able front and rear lighting system for pre-pro- duction and production-state awareness.
