ceremony. This year's show, produced in partnership with Avalon Harbor Entertainment, not only marks a return to its two-hour live format, but serves as a moment to celebrate the continued work of the industry and the talent of film, television and stunt performers. For the first time since 1997, the SAG Awards ceremony is taking place at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California, which, at 35,000 square feet, touts itself as the largest and most versatile venue in Los Angeles. "The Barker Hangar is like a giant canvas; it gives us incredible room for creativity and its design has been at the forefront of our planning," said Executive Producer Jon Brockett. "We want to create a space that feels intimate for our actors, while also making it engaging for viewers at home." There's no doubt that audiences will be able to feel the room's energy through their screens, but something else to anticipate is the fun, spontaneous moments that happen when friends and colleagues simply come together. Whether planned or off the cuff, they showcase a type of affinity not often seen on other awards programs. "The SAG Awards is truly a collaborative effort between production, staff and our members, and we're grateful to the Awards Committee, as they work closely with us to ensure the interests of the members are represented," putting it together The diligent work of the SAG Awards Committee makes the annual ceremony possible.
