Together, we are stronger. We salute our educators who make a difference in shaping the future of Wyoming. Supporting #WyomingTogether Contact: Willis Towers Watson, Consultant | 800-640-4459 Wyoming Educators' Benefit Trust WEBT In response to member interest, the Natrona County Education Association (NCEA) bylaws have been amended to allow Education Support Professionals (ESP) to join the NCEA. Previously, though ESP were eligible to join WEA and NEA, they could not join NCEA. Natrona County ESP members will continue to benefit from representation by the WEA Central/Northeast Region Uniserv Director, as well as enjoying the many additional benefits of WEA/NEA membership. Now, as NCEA members, they are also eligible for representation and guidance from the only full- time release president in the state, NCEA President Dirk Andrews. Andrews told WEA News that he sees this move as the first step in the right direction toward a larger plan for Natrona County ESP. "Ultimately, my hope is that ESP will form their own local. Natrona County is large enough to support a local designated for Natrona County ESP," said Andrews. "But, for now, I'm very pleased to welcome them to NCEA, and I'm looking forward to supporting WEA and NEA in serving these members."
