STRENGTHENING the Association WEA field staff had the opportunity to connect with ESP at the Wyoming Custodians Association conference in Casper. Staff networked with members and potential members, presented the NEA Professional Growth Continuum, True Colors personality inventory system, and more. "Every time WEA staff and leaders are in the field listening to members, we benefit from a greater understanding of what our members and their coworkers experience, and it helps us to better serve our members," said WEA Organizer Elise Robillard. "When we are in the field listening, we also identify new voices that are emerging as leaders in education. When we connect leaders with the power of the Association, we can bring about positive change." 14 members (and counting) signed up as a result of WEA's involvement in this event! And, just as importantly, WEA staff learned more about the needs and priorities of Wyoming custodians.
