Austin is home to Carver Museum & Cultural Center, dedicated to the collec- tion, preservation, research and exhibi- tion of African-American historical and cultural material. The museum is a key source of information on the history and celebration of Juneteenth. On site are the Carver Library and The Boyd Vance Theatre with a proscenium stage with stadium seating for 134 persons, includ- ing accessibility for those who are mobility impaired.
