HILTON CHICAGO NORTHBROOK COM- PLETES PHASE ONE OF MULTI-MILLION- DOLLAR RENOVATION The Premier North Shore Property Reveals A Comprehensive Refresh to its 20,000 Square Feet Of Meeting And Event Space And 249 Guest Rooms H ilton Chicago Northbrook, located at 2855 Milwaukee Ave, has recently unveiled phase one of a multi-million-dol- lar renovation, which introduces a refreshed look to its 20,000 sq. ft. of flexible function space and 249 guest rooms. Phase two of the renovation is set to take place in early 2020 and will include a com- plete revamp of the property's award- winning restau- rants, Allgauer's on the Riverfront and Frank's Place. The inspiration for the restoration, completed by the Lynn Rosenberg Design team, focuses on devel- oping a modern aesthetic while maintaining the historic roots of the North Shore hotel. "We are thrilled to introduce a refreshed Hilton C h i c a g o Northbrook to both visitors and residents of the North Shore community," said Holly Allgauer-Cir gen- eral manager of Hilton Chicago Northbrook. "With this renovation, we have aimed to bring a new, modernized look to our property while still delivering the feel of comfort and convenience that our guests have come to know and love." The revamped meeting and event spaces feature new carpeting, mod- ern wallpaper, and contemporary finished light fixtures, as well as elec- tronic reader boards and door signs. A neutral palette with a pop of warm, red tones is portrayed throughout each of the renovated areas. Upgraded to include a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system, The Grand Ballroom now provides the quintessential environment to play host to the thousands of events on property each year. Ideally suited for a diverse range of gatherings from weddings to conferences, Hilton Chicago Northbrook offers 18 breakout spaces and can accommodate up to 1,300 guests. Inspired by the idea of creating a "home away from home," all 249 guest rooms at Hilton Chicago Northbrook have also been refreshed to offer new carpeting, furniture, smart TVs and high quality lighting. Similar to the renovated event spaces, each guest room features a calm- ing, neutral palette with hints of red in various design elements and stun- ning views of the Des Plaines River and Allison Woods. Additionally, all rooms are equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi and multiple USB con- nections, giving the guest the ability to charge up to ten devices at a time. Originally known as Allgauer's Hotel, the property was constructed with just the East Tower in 1984. In 1988, the West Tower was built and the hotel joined the Holiday Inn Crown Plaza brand. In 1992, the prop- erty became a member of the Hilton family and was renamed to be Hilton Chicago Northbrook. Located in the heart of the North Shore, minutes away from O'Hare International Airport and downtown Chicago, the Hilton Chicago Northbrook is the quintessential North Shore hotel for both business and leisure travelers.
