B M & T ••• July/August 2019 ••• www.blackmeetingsandtourism.com 19 19 walks away believing they have had a unique experience. That's the key – the experience!" Tour and See, Brenda's second com- pany, is focused on national and interna- tional tour experiences. Whether you want a girl's weekend in Las Vegas (a tour she is cur- rently selling) or a memorial tour to Paisley Park in Minneapolis to celebrate Prince, or a customized 10-day tour to Spain with a local guide who even teaches flamingo dancing, Brenda will ensure that each tour is designed with you in mind. Brenda's team of African-American women also makes her company stand out as different and unique. "I wanted the opportunity to share this business with women I respect and love and who share my vision and dream for making memories for our clients." To that end the titles of her princi- ple team members include: Janneh Johnson – Chief Amazement Architect; Michele Burrus, Chief Memory Maker, and Yvonne Wilson, Chief Wealth Protector (aka CFO). These women work together to provide their clients with the kind of tours and customer service that makes for a "WOW" experi- ence and keeps her clients coming back for more. Whether it is a student tour for 4th graders, a senior citizens tour to local casinos, a civil rights tour across the deep south, or an international tour to Ghana, Cal Events and Tour and See will meet with you, discuss your goals and objectives, and then go to work to design and execute the tour of your dreams. "It's all in the details," says Brenda. "We love to work on the details. We had a group from Sweden last year and they came to Sacramento over the 4th of July. They were passionate about the VASA, a Swedish ship that had capsized and sank in 1628. We studied-up and learned all we could about the organization and the ship. We then rent- ed out the California Railroad Museum for their 4th of July banquet. When they walked into the room, the ship had been recreated and placed inside the vase that held the centerpieces for the ban- quet. It was even lit from the bottom. They were absolutely blown away! This is what we do. Whether it is on the road, on a tour bus or at an event…we make your dreams come true!" "It's all in the details,"
