Katie Barnes • Please consider electing me to represent you at the 2013 NEA RA. I've been fortunate to represent you and would like to continue to do so. I enjoy participating in the discussion surrounding education issues and policy and your support would allow me to do that. Thanks for your consideration. Jason Freed • I have a continued commitment to our Association. I've served as a local officer, bargaining team member, PAC Committee member, AEA committee member and as an NEA Director. I've worked hard for our Association and ask your help by voting for Jason Freed as an NEA Statewide Delegate. Paul Lowes • Phoenix Union CTA is a leading education local, successfully creating innovations within our District, and forging positive and effective relationships with our fellow Classified Employees' Association and our friends in neighboring districts' education associations. As AEA Treasurer and RA delegate this will allow me to continue to be a voice for our AEA members. I will engage in the dialogue and discussion as well as advocate for all our members at a national level. Election District B Angela Philpot • It would be my privilege to represent each one of you and serve as an Arizona delegate to the 2012 NEA Representative Assembly. I am a tireless advocate for education like each one of us in AEA and am active at the local, state, and national levels of our organization. Rachel Stafford • For 6 years, I have served as a dedicated local leader/board member proudly representing region B in countless ways, taking your message/voice to state and national leaders. Attending the RA would allow me to continue my service to you: therefore, I appreciate your vote as your 2013 RA delegate! Election District C No candidates nominated Janie Hydrick • These are uniquely challenging times for our association and for our profession. Decisions made and governance leaders elected will define who we are and determine our future. I bring you vast experience, a profound passion for our association, and an enduring commitment to you and our profession. Vote Hydrick. Thanks! Joe Thomas • Serving as your AEA Vice President requires additional responsibilities to carrying your voice to the national level. As a veteran leader I strive to inform Arizona delegates on the issues, orient new delegates to NEA RA procedures, and ensure everyone feels their voice is heard. I ask for your support. Election District E Maria Leyva • A collective voice for educators is what is needed right now more than ever. I would be honored to represent the educators of Arizona this year at the Representative Assembly where one can speak for the many that deserve to be heard. Thank you.
