AS SOCI AT ION G OV ER NA NCE Richard Ross • As a member and officer of the Paradise Valley Education Association, I continue to be amazed at the power and positive change provided by the democratic process. Election District G Amber Gould • As a second year teacher and member of GUEA, I currently sit on the AEA Board of Directors, eSWAG committee (educators under 30), and I have served nationally on the NEA-SP Advisory Committee. If elected, I would be honored to represent Arizona as a delegate at the NEA-RA this year. Election District H Marisol Garcia • As the NEA Hispanic Caucus Director, the AEA EMC Chair, the AEA Legislative Task Force chair, and the representative to the AEA BofD for Region 6, I believe, that as future leader in AEA, and a strong local president, I am the best candidate for delegate to the NEA-RA. Tom Oviatt • I have been an AEA member for 24 years. I have been on the AEA Board of Directors for 3 years and a local president for 3 years as well. I have been a representative for both certificated and classified employees. I would love to represent you at the RA Gretchen Clifton • In my family, significant duty has always been reserved for the advocacy of educators' and students' rights. If you vote for me to represent you at this year's NEA-RA, I will do my best to consider the wishes, interests, and rights of my fellow AEA members and their students. Esteban Flemons • I would appreciate the opportunity to represent Arizona again at NEA-RA this summer. There are changes that need to be made in Education and strong voices are needed to facilitate them. As a professional educator let my voice be one with yours as we work for change. Election District M Dan Ireland • I would like to represent the members of region M to the NEA-DA this July. I have represented its members for the past 5 years, and would like the opportunity to do so again. I am always present for the votes, and take the business of the assembly very seriously. Emily Freed • Each year that I have taught, I have had the honor of representing you at the AEA Delegate Assembly, the NEA Representative Assembly, and as a TEA Association Representative. I want to continue working at all levels of our Association. Please help me by voting for Emily Freed! Thank you. Election District I Election District K Paul Lowes • Phoenix Union CTA is a leading education local, successfully creating innovations within our District, and forging positive and effective relationships with our fellow Classified Employees' Association and our friends in neighboring districts' education associations. I am proud to be part of these endeavors, and eager to see them grow.
