THINK GLOBALLY,
FILM LOCALLY
Gardens,
roads, ponds,
mature trees,
statues,
architecture.
only wish we could make some
of the classes mandatory.
I've settled in on a little show
called Lethal Weapon. We do
an action feature every eight
days. Car chases, explosions,
gunfights, all the fun stuff. I
have one of the best teams
in the business. Two of my
assistants have been with me
for 24 years and the new kid
has only been with us for 11
or 12. Once again, I'm lucky to
have them.
My kids are grown,
graduated from college and
following their own paths,
much of it paid for by my
years as a 399 Teamster
location manager. I'm still
with the pretty blonde,
a story for another time,
and I'm one of the luckiest
guys in the world because
I get to do what I love with
the people I love. It was a
roundabout way to get here,
but it's been one hell of a
ride!
"The climate is more creative
in TV, and you need to be more
resourceful doing television."
My biggest reason for doing the job that I do. I am a lucky man!
