Some of these eateries/bars include Bar 360, The Buffet, Dream Dance Steak, The Fire Pit Sports Bar & Grill, Valley Food Court, RuYi and Wild Earth Cucina Italiana. In attempts to making this casino an even more complete venue, ongoing construction work is in its early stages for a hotel. When the hotel at Potawatomi Bingo Casino opens during the summer of 2014, residents and visitors to the area will experience an iconic 20-story tower along the skyline that integrates both traditional Milwaukee architecture and modern design. The hotel will also represent the area's culture and geography and offer subtle nods to the storied history of the Forest County Potawatomi Tribe. This city's diverse population and welcoming communities are highlighted in the ethnic festivals and religious celebrations. Polish Fest, Germanfest, Irish Fest and African World Festival have all been named Top 100 Events by 72 the American Bus Association, and helped Milwaukee become known as The City of Festivals. The Wisconsin Black Historical Society/Museum, located on the corners of North 27 and West Center Streets, opened its door and its heart to the community, city, and state in 1987. Based on the premise that a people who know their history will grow to love and appreciate themselves more, the Society is striving to create a bright future out of a heart breaking past. The mission of the Wisconsin Black Historical Society/Museum is to document and preserve the historical heritage of African descent in Wisconsin. The Museum exhibits, collects and disseminates materials depicting this heritage. Serving as a resource center for all people interested in Wisconsin's rich African-American heritage, the Museum's purpose is to encourage and promote family community and cultural activities.
