Of special significance to meeting professionals, new itineraries include a four-night Caribbean sailing that is ideal for shorter meetings at sea. Also new is an eight-night itinerary that takes attendees to Walt Disney World Resort and Disney's private island in the Bahamas, Castaway Cay. In addition to new itineraries, Disney will continue to offer its popular six-night Western Caribbean sailings out of Galveston. "For planners, this translates into a variety of extended options for incentives, corporate meetings and board retreats," said Anne Hamilton, vice president, Resort Sales and Services for Disney Destinations. "Regardless of why a group comes together, Disney Cruise Line offers experiences that attendees will find unforgettable." Highlights of the 2013 Galveston itineraries include: 2013 Galveston Schedule In the early part of 2013, the Disney Magic will sail from the Port of Galveston to the Western Caribbean and Bahamas with four-, six- and eightnight itineraries. • NEW: Four-night Caribbean sailings are ideal for meetings and incentives at sea, including two days at sea to sample the one-of-a-kind Disney Cruise Line shipboard experience. •Ports: Galveston, Cozumel • Departure dates: Feb. 1, 5, March 15, 19, April 12, 16 • Six-night Western Caribbean cruises offer a sun-drenched retreat with world-class entertainment and impeccable guest service found only on Disney Cruise Line. • Ports: Galveston, Grand Cayman, Cozumel • Departure dates: Jan. 12, 26, Feb. 9, 23, March 9, 23, April 6, 20, May 4 • NEW: Eight-night Bahamas sailings include a day at Disney's private island, Castaway Cay, and a stop at Port Canaveral, Fla., giving guests an opportunity to visit the nearby Walt Disney World Resort. CARNIVAL GLORY RETURNS TO SERVICE WITH A VARIETY OF EXCITING FUN SHIP 2.0 FEATURES ADDED DURING TWO-WEEK DRY DOCK The Carnival Glory returned to service recently following an extensive, multi-million dollar renovation that added an array of exciting on- board spaces, from a new burger venue developed by Food Network personality Guy Fieri and a pair of tropics-inspired poolside watering holes to a "cocktail pharmacy"-themed lounge called the Alchemy Bar. Carnival Glory's new dining, bar and entertainment options are part of Fun Ship 2.0, a $500 million product enhancement initiative that is being rolled out across the Carnival fleet. Following a special three-day cruise from Miami to Nassau departing November 15, Carnival Glory will launch a winter schedule of seven-day Caribbean voyages beginning Nov. 18. In June 2013, the ship will reposition to Boston for a series of four- and five-day Canada voyages before heading to New York for four- to seven-day Canada/New England departures through October.
