GRAND HYATT DENVER OPENS ONE OF DOWNTOWN DENVER'S ONLY OUTDOOR ROOFTOP JOGGING TRACKS AND TENNIS COURT Greg Leonard, general manager of the AAA Four Diamond award winning Grand Hyatt Denver, announces the redesign and opening of one of downtown Denver's only outdoor rooftop jogging tracks and tennis court.  Dubbed the "Skycourt", this unique fitness facility overlooking the Denver skyline also includes shuffleboard and fitness stations.  Twelve laps around the jogging track equal one mile. "A facility such as this is ideal for Denver," commented Leonard.  "The sun shines 300 days a year here and guests really enjoy the milder, crisper temperatures even in the winter months. This will be a year-around facility, closing only when the weather is inclement." The Skycourt complements the 516-room hotel perfectly and is one of a long list of updates the hotel is receiving. In July, Grand Hyatt Denver opened the new Pub 17 on Welton Street, offering more than 50 local craft beers and an extensive selection of western slope wines. The fare, all regionally sourced, is designed for pairing and Happy Hour is featured daily. B M & T ••• November/December 2012 ••• www.blackmeetingsandtourism.com 13
