SSL’s X-Patch simplifies patching B EGBROKE, UK — Solid State Logic (www.solid-state-logic.com) is of- fering a software-controlled routing system in its X-Patch product. X- Patch was developed from technology used at the heart of SSL’s Matrix console and provides a 16x16 routing matrix that can be Ethernet con- trolled remotely from a standard computer. SSL’s Logictivity remote studio browser app provides set-up, configuration and preset storage. X-Patch can function as a simple X-Y router or as a matrix to create complex processing chains. This allows for analog processing to be built into favorite processing chains and then easily placed into signal paths. In a studio environment, X-Patch speeds up workflow by reducing the physical re-patching required when using only a patch bay for routing.
