Crimi was an assistant at the facility for six years. Since being promoted, he's worked on ad campaigns for numerous leading brands, including Nike, Comcast and Dominos. Additionally, he has mixed short films, including Moving Violation and Pa'lante. Crimi joined Sound Lounge in 2012 and has worked alongside each of the senior mixers on a wide range of advertising and entertainment projects. His background also includes previous posts with sound facilities Head Room and AudioEngine. PAUL ZUCKER Editor Paul Zucker has joined Rock Paper Scissors, with locations in Santa Monica, CA, and New York City, for commercial representation in the US. Zucker is best-known for being the series editor on HBO's Girls and the feature comedy Trainwreck, starring Amy Schumer. As a commercial editor, Zucker has cut the brand- defining "Stress Test" campaign for Secret (P&G) and Wieden+Kennedy, Portland. Other commercial collaborations include Old Navy and State Farm. His narrative comedy work includes Mike Judge's HBO series Silicon Valley and This is 40 with Judd Apatow. ELI ROTHOLZ Creative content company Alkemy X has added Eli Rotholz to its team as vice president of business development based in the company's New York headquarters. Rotholz brings more than 12 years of sales/business development, strategy and production experience to his new role, having begun his career as an independent sales rep for firms such as Ziegler/Jakubowicz and Moustache NYC. From there, he worked in his first in-house position at Click3X, where he built and managed a diverse roster of directorial talent, as well as the company's first integrated production offering, focusing on live-action, VFX/design/animation and editorial. He later founded Honor Society Films and then joined Hone Production as director of business development/ content EP. CHRIS BEERS, HUBERT MASTON Framestore welcomes Chris Beers (photo, left) to its Chicago team as compositing lead as well as Hubert Maston (photo, right) as VFX supervisor in its Montreal studio. After working on personal projects, Beers later pursued his craft at The Illinois Institute of Art, where he earned a BFA in visual effects & motion graphics. He honed his skills as a junior motion graphics artist at Leviathan in Chicago, and has since worked as an After Effects artist and as a Nuke compositor for the title sequences on the Marvel films Ant-Man, Captain America: Civil War and Doctor Strange. With over 15 years' production experience, as both VFX supervisor and head of CG, Hubert is working on the studio's upcoming feature films. He started in his native Paris as a digital artist at studios around the city and went on to accrue credits as CG supervisor for VFX specialist studios in Toronto, Australia and Montreal. In London, he supervised projects for Marvel Studios' Guardians of the Galaxy, Jupiter Ascending and The Purge: Anarchy. JON HURST Post production facility Nineteentwenty has added Jon Hurst as managing director. He was the former co-founder of Big Buoy and will now work to grow the Nineteentwenty business from its London headquarters. Hurst comes to the studio following nearly two decades at the London post house, Big Buoy. He got his start as a runner and gradually worked his way up to studio manager. He eventually opened his own post facility. Following the merger of Smoke and Mirrors Creative and Big Buoy, Hurst parted ways with the company. Nineteentwenty is well known for its CGI and visual effects work. KARIM HUU DO LA production and management company, Anonymous Content, has signed director Karim Huu Do for commercial and music video representation in North America. From commercials and music videos to filmmaking, Huu Do mixes surreal visual dreamscapes and unsettling hyperreality. Huu Do has directed spots for global clients, including Converse, H&M and Gillette, as well as his "Superstar" campaign for Adidas, featuring Pharrell, Rita Ora, David Beckham and Damian Lillard. His music video works includes a short film for the music collective Last Night In Paris, a short film for the release of Drake's album, If You're Reading This It's Too Late, and a music video for The Shoes. MARK THORLEY Technicolor's VFX studio, Mill Film, has brought on Mark Thorley to head Mill Film in Australia, which launched in February. Thorley brings more than 15 years of executive leadership experience working at leading companies such as Lucas Film, Singapore, where he oversaw studio operations and production strategies. Prior to that, Thorley spent nine years at Animal Logic, at its Los Angeles and Sydney locations, as head of production, and also held senior positions at Screen Queensland and Omnicom. Thorley's work includes features such as Kong: Skull Island, Rogue One, Jurassic World and Avengers: Age of Ultron.
