including @midnight, Hidden America, The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail and the reboot of Mystery Science Theater 3000. He attributed some of his laughs (the minor ones) to location manager David B. Lyons. We were in good hands with Allstate spokesman, actor Dennis Haysbert. When presenting the Commercial Locations Award, he went off script, commenting on the importance of locations to his work, stating that locations are a critical cast member, an integral part of the story and his favorite department after the sound guys! Actors Kevin Daniels and Tracie Thoms won over the crowd, presenting one of the Television Locations Awards. Taking our cue from the Academy, we had some past winners as presenters. Location pro Mandi Dillin brought out David Doumeng, eventually removing the cautionary gaffers' tape from his mouth, so they could present one of the Feature Film Locations Awards. Under the leadership of Co-chairs Robin Citrin and Eric Klosterman, the Awards Committee did an outstanding job. Thanks to everyone from our global village who made this a very special evening.
