There is much to consider before running for office. WEA is here to help you make that
decision. We can connect you with resources that will help you determine whether
now is the time to pursue elected office.
Additionally, the Wyoming Education Association Political Action Committee for
Education (WEA-PACE) is here to help you get elected once you decide to run. A
special fund (not supported by member dues) called the Educators as Politicians Fund
has been set up within WEA-PACE to help WEA members seek public office. The
fund was created in memory of Harold Bovee, a deceased teacher and WEA member,
staffer, political action enthusiast, and friend. This fund, in addition to your campaign
fundraising plan, could help you realize the resources you need to win.
