Since 2013, thirty-seven very skilled and talented young artists have been selected for the PA program from hundreds of applicants. These participants have been mentored by ADG members on projects such as scripted television shows, reality shows, award shows and theatrical features from small independents to major studio blockbusters. With so many different workplace environments, the participants are able to complete the program with exposure to a wide range of skills and knowledge that they can carry with them as they move onto being Assistant Art Directors. With each year, the PA Program gains recognition in the industry and within our Guild. As a result, the number of Production Designers and Art Directors contacting us for information on our production apprentices grows every year, and the high quality of the participants has made them sought after in many Art Departments. Members should encourage promising artists to apply for the program, details on the application process can be found on the ADG website. Artwork submitted by current ADG apprentices, from top to bottom: Jubilate Cox, Emma Sparer, Augusto Barranco and Anastasia Bankova
