by Tom Duffi eld, Production Designer When I read in the late summer of 2015 that Peter Berg had signed on to direct a movie about the Boston Marathon bombings, I wondered if I just might get a call. It's the kind of movie we had done together several times in the past, a historically driven action film. Sure enough, the following November, I got the call to start prepping the end of January with a shoot date of late April. All good, but that didn't last. As seems to happen on almost all of the shows I've done in the last ten years, a principal cast member had time issues. The call came during the holidays that Mark Wahlberg had to be done by the twelfth of May. That pushed up prep to right after New Year's, and the Art Department would have to hit the ground running on January 4. PATRIOTS DAY Five unforgettable days in Boston – April 2013
