90 P E R S P E C T I V E | J A N UA RY / F E B R UA RY 2 0 1 7 Center: A pencil sketch shaded in Photoshop ® by Art Director Emmanuel Prevót of Jackie's White House dressing room set. Inset, top: The finished set on Stage 5 at Studios de Paris. Above, left and right: Two views of Jackie's White House bedroom set, the first showing research from Abraham Lincoln's funeral procession; the second showing the scale of the room with its 14-foot ceiling. Opposite page, top to bottom: Other rooms, all part of the second-floor set, include Jackie's bathroom, Caroline's bedroom where nearly every piece of fabric had to be custom-printed, and two views of the Lincoln bedroom where almost every piece of furniture had to be built; it was impossible to find any bed or table that looks like those magnificent props. "Researcher Nathalie Roubaud found the addresses of the houses that Jackie contacted to print the curtains for her bedroom. Tillett Textiles & T4, Sheffield, Massachusetts, reprinted for us the design from her bedroom that they still had in their archives. One of the owners came himself to deliver the fabrics to Paris. We contacted them again to print the fabric for the living room at Hyannis Port."
