The script takes place in his Manhattan penthouse, the Hamptons, the chic Lipstick Building in Manhattan, Greenwich Country Club, ballrooms, pricey restaurants and spas in Palm Beach, yachts, jets and numerous European locations. No matter how much you squint, Long Island is not Palm Beach and a thirty-mile car ride from Manhattan might get you to a fluff and fold, but not the Hamptons. To make matters worse, we had a tremendous number of script pages to cover in the 38-day schedule. A film production company stuck in traffic is a film company not filming a movie. The only way to accomplish the schedule was by filming as many scenes as possible in one location. The variety of looks required us to travel to the very edge of the thirty-mile limit so each journey needed to be worthwhile.
