You may not think about it often, but every school district in Wyoming has military-connected students, most with needs unique to their situations. Military Child Education Coalition (MCEC) offers a wide range of professional development training seminars and online courses for the educators and caretakers of those students. Topics include school transitions, children with special needs, and college readiness— all are available for any caring adult concerned about the welfare of our military- connected children and youth. Global Exploration for Educators Organization's trips are 7 to 21 days in length and are designed and discounted to be interesting and affordable for teachers. In addition to amazing tour leaders, many of the programs are accompanied by university faculty that are experts on the destination. GEEO also provides teachers educational materials and the structure to help them bring their experiences into the classroom.
